dried beans. They only come to the market on the first and last
days and the last Saturday in October.

A family farm started in 1917, Bear Hill is the
charter member of our market (1997). Mike and Anne Gagnon are on
the Farmers' Market Steering Committee. They have been instrumental
in establishing organic standards in Massachusetts.

Cider
Hill Farm, Amesbury, MA- Vegetables and Fruit and Corn
Glenn & Karen Cook have been supplying the
Marblehead co-op for many years and have been at the Farmers' Market
since 1999. They have a very wide array of produce, including fruit.
Cider Hill has a farm stand and a pick-your-own operation at 45
Fern Avenue .

Bill
Clark has been coming since 1998 from his 280+ year old family farm
with a farm stand at 163 Hobart St. He has a wide variety of produce
and flowers

Gibney Gardens, Danvers,
MA - Vegetables
Peter
Gibney runs the farm which many know for their retail plant & farm
stand just off Rt 35 at 15 South Liberty Street. They have a full
service farm stand, with 10 greenhouses. They grow 120 acres of
fresh produce throughout Essex County.
Peter has GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) training and their produce
is grown naturally, using IPM methods.

HERB FARMacy, Salisbury, MA - Organic Culinary & Medicinal
Herbs
Rita
Wollmering & Brooke Finn's small farm produces a wide selection
of certified organic plants, specializing in herbs, antique flowers
and heirloom tomatoes for sale here at the Marblehead Farmers Market
and at their greenhouses at 30 Elmwood St. Part of our market since
1998, they also offer cut flowers, eggs, honey and herbal products.

Middle Earth Farm,
Amesbury, MA - Organic Vegetables
Vegetables
grown using sustainable methods Richard Rosenburgh began farming
in 1976 and joined the Marblehead Farmers’ Market in 2000. He offers
sustainable grown produce; the selection is extensive and, of course,
changes with the growing season. As available, there will be green
garlic early on- later dried garlic (10 varieties); arrive early
in the day to not miss out on a market-favorite Arugula; additional
market-favorites roma beans, cousa squash, many varieties of potatoes
and greens…. and the list goes on… He also offers eggs from his
free-range, organically fed chickens. He supplied the Marblehead
Community Supported Agriculture Co-op for 6 years in the mid 1990’s.
